The Bronx is a dry gin based cocktail mixed with both sweet and dry vermouth and a fresh squeeze of orange juice. It's a clean, refreshing, combination of citrus and dry gin flavors. You'll be surprised by how much you love this one... we sure were.
For this cocktail you'll need a mason jar/ lid, a pairing knife, a potato peeler, a martini glass, ice and a strainer.
Start by pouring your gin into your mason jar, over ice.
Measure out your dry and sweet Vermouths. Because this recipe requires 1/2 an oz. of both I combined them into a single 1 oz shot glass.
Add "the Vermouths" into your mason jar to mixing.
Strain your orange juice into your mason jar. This will help remove any extra pulp from your cocktail.
Shake it up! (about 1 minute)
Now for the garnish, take your potato peeler and make a small garnish out of a fresh orange. Once peeled, gently squeeze it to release the oils in the peel.
Finally, strain your cocktail mixture into your martini glass, drop in your garnish, and enjoy.
