Birthdays and anniversaries are always a great time to celebrate with champagne, but after a while it can get to be kind of "the same old same old" thing. For my birthday last year we found a beautiful hibiscus liqueur and decided we would give it a try in our champagne and we were not disappointed! It's always special to try new things for fun occasions. This cocktail will always have a special place in my heart!
Place 6 champagne flutes or coupe glasses out on a flat surface.
Place about 1-2 tsp of the liqueur or rose syrup in each glass and top with champagne. Gently stir each glass so the champagne mixes in with the syrup or liqueur, and then gently place an edible flower in each glass.
I recommend pushing the edible flowers into the glasses so people do not get a nose full of flower with each drink. Enjoy!
